Buckner’s after school programs provide students ages 5-12 with a safe, structured learning environment after school. Students participate in character building and recreational activities, while learning social skills, receiving one-on-one tutoring and mentoring through staff and volunteers.
The After-school Program Provides the Following Resources:
A safe, secure environment where children of all ages can have fun while learning and being mentored through staff.
Opportunities for children to participate in recreational activities, while getting exercise and acquiring life-long habits of keeping mentally and physically fit.
Able to learn new skills and engage in social activities, resulting in self-confidence and good manners.
Buckner has many after school programs to children in the surrounding communities whether in Longview, Houston, Amarillo, Lubbock or the Dallas/Ft. Worth areas.
