Geoff Moore Music Video 'Erases' Fears,
Opens Hearts

Christian music artist Geoff Moore (www.geoffmoore.com) traveled with Buckner to Guatemala and Honduras on a mission trip this spring. Watch a video from his travels played to his song 'Erase.' Moore wrote the lyrics to this song after traveling on a mission trip to Africa.



Valley Volunteers Get Dirty Serving Others
More than 400 volunteers got dirty serving others this summer during KidsHeart, a collaboration between Buckner International and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship to serve some of the poorest countires in the United States.

Baseball and Orphans

Buckner Responds to Earthquake
Victims in Peru

Though most of American media has moved on from the devastating 8.0 magnitude earthquake in Peru, the needs remain dire. Buckner International responded quickly to the quake and delivered 800 blankets, shoes, socks, underwear and diapers to the displaced in the provinces of Chinca and Canete, located south of Lima.

Churches, Christian radio stations, schools and businesses nationwide are hosting local drives for Shoes for Orphan Souls during the back-to-school season.



The Girl in the Corner
She stood alone in the corner, mouth shaped like an “n.” Her foster mother consoled a crying boy while bouncing a baby on her hip. Analiz Gonzalez felt drawn to the little girl’s big brown eyes. “I could keep her God. I really could. If this couple can handle eight, I can take care of one.” There’s a shortage of foster families in the Rio Grande Valley. Did Analiz decide to take one in? Could you?
