100% of contributions given to Buckner go directly to fund our programs
Most of Buckner’s domestic programs are funded entirely or in part through contracts with the State of Texas, churches and other organizations. Some programs charge small fees for services. These revenue sources help provide for the domestic programs.
Buckner’s international programs have no similar revenue stream. They are totally dependent upon philanthropic support. All of the programs and services Buckner provides, including: follow-up workers, transitional living support, humanitarian aid, and in-country program staff are supported by philanthropy. Buckner depends on the generosity of others, including individuals and organizations, to provide funding for all its international programs.
The financial statements of Buckner International and subsidiaries are audited on an annual basis by a public accounting firm and related Form 990 tax returns are filed on a timely basis. The annual fiscal budget for Buckner International and its subsidiaries is $74 million. The audit reports and Form 990 tax returns are available upon request.
Buckner is committed to maintaining integrity and honesty in all its fiscal practices and fiscal reporting. Buckner International is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability, an accreditation agency dedicated to helping Christian ministries earn the public’s trust.
